Isnt the Phase one considered MF? The pentax looks cleaner for sure.

True, not any camera, but many cameras. Make sure to compare using the Print feature in the top right corner of the frame, not Full Resolution. Viewing at Full Resolution unfairly disadvantages cameras with more pixels, Print size levels the playing field.

MF does give better results, but the surprise is how small the difference is at base ISO. And this remains true comparing other formats as well. The D810 was "better" than the K-3, but the differences really are surprisingly subtle and close to insignificant.

To me Phase One looks best (I don't even know what Phase One is) but 645Z is for sure second and better looking than all the rest.

Hopefully you noticed that the Phase One ISO stays at 35 when you increase ISO on the other cameras.
