Lenses Compatible with 645z

I know of the backwards-compatible Pentax lenses, but are there any will work with and an adapter and retain full field of view? I could be wrong but I think normal lenses with adapters won't work, e.g. a Canon 85 f1.2 won't get full field of view, right?

Any Pentax 645 lens will work, or you can use 67 lenses in Av or M mode with an adapter.

What you're describing, using a 35mm system lens on a medium format camera, isn't practical. If a physical adapter was available or custom machined you wouldn't be able to focus to infinity--there is more distance between the 645 mount and sensor than there is with a 35mm system.

Going th other way works--a quick search shows that using Hasselblad V lenses on the 645d/z is possible, and of course Pentax 67 lenses as well.

The canon EF 85mm f/1.2L can't cover the format properly, also the registration distance of the lens make it impossible to use on the 645 system.

Using other medium format lenses with an adapter would work though?

It is possible to do this - however the adapter may cause issues as the mount may not be perfectly parallel or the adapter may have light leaks.
