Check out this adapter for Pentax 6x7 camera with 45mm lens to produce panoramic photos using 35mm film
(Sorry for the eBay link, but I couldn't find the product on the Fotodiox website):

Panoramic Conversion Kit for Pentax 67,not x-pan,*New* - eBay (item 220237367580 end time May-27-08 13:35:16 PDT)

Personally I'd prefer an XPan or Widelux, but it's a neat idea...

Chris

P.S. I am in no way connected with the seller etc.

That is so cool! May have to get my 6x7 one of those. Don't have a 45 lens though. Really wouldn't have to use a 45.
thanks

Very cool idea! I have reservations regarding the spool adapters, but I'll probably add this item to my kit. The 45mm lens has very low distortion and should be an optical gem in this situation.

You mentioned that you'd prefer the Xpan and I have to say, I love my Xpan II almost as much as my 67II's. If you are interested in an endorsement, the Xpan II is a 10+ on a scale of 1-10. The optical quality is stunning and the camera is fun to use. Only negative is that you need to work with a custom E-6 lab so they don't cut the slides/negs at the usual 35mm distance.

Used to get Kodak Processing (Qualex) to send back uncut rolls of transparencies by writing that on the envelope. Haven't done it in a while but they might still offer that. They never cut 120 transparencies.
thanks

Thanks for the tip! I have about 75 Fuji E6 mailers left from a large lot I purchased back when they were just $2.99. All the 120 and 220 labs I've used return the film uncut, so getting similar service for 35mm shouldn't be a big stretch...

Sorry to bring up an old thread, anyone use this before? I can't figure out how the take up spool works?
