Pentax 67II BB-61 Focus Screen

I recently purchased a Pentax 67II Medium Format Camera and have been making changes I would like. I would really appreciate any information for locating a BB-61 Focus Screen for this camera. They seem to be very elusive to find.

You are going to have to just keep looking. What country are you from? When I wanted a hard-to-find lens for my 67, I got it through Japan Exposures. I told him what I wanted and he found it in a day.

Also, consider this option, I use a waist level finder (aka folding hood) on both my 6x7 and 67. It has a magnifying glass which is also good for aging eyes. With that you can see the micro prisms way better than looking through that prism and you see when things pop into focus much easier. You get 100% view as well. I have a split screen on my 500C/M and I like the mirco prisms better on the Pentax 67.

I found it recently brand new , when I was in Japan on vacation, at Tokiwa Camera in Osaka. The package was marked Ricoh Pentax indicating a very recent manufacture.
Japan, being the land where this system was made, is the best source of material for Pentax 67. Look for some japanese online supplier.
Or try Tin Cheung Camera Company in Hong Kong, they may have it.

This is where I got mine
This is another shop in Tokyo where they carried lots of used P67 stuff

Also, in every city in Japan there is at least one Yodobashi Camera and/or a Bic Camera. Those are huge chains of electronic/photography shops in Japan . In every one I went there were showcases with brand new P67II stuff.

The problem is finding out if they can sell all this good things outside of Japan.

This guy sells various stuff over internet. He may provide what you are looking for.

I hope you get one, it is very convenient!

I got mine in 2009 in Taipeh, directly at Pentax Taiwan. But it turned out I don't really like it. I soon swichted to one having grid lines, I like that one better.

I went to the Chisick Camera Centre in London on Wednesday they had sold the 67 extention tubes I was looking for but looking in their window there were two BB61 screens not listed on their website priced at 39 I brought one it is very likely the other is still there.

Their contact page

I have found Amazon.com is quite a good way to locate some of the screens have ordered a BG60 via there price about 63 subject to import charges but still cheaper than the prices I see on ebay no BB61 on there at the moment though.
