I know this is a little off topic, but I could not resist.

For those old enough to remember: Here is a 25 year flashback to Photoshop 1.0

Especially interesting considering that a single photo shoot of 645z Raw files would be larger than most of the external storage media of the time.

Enjoy

OMG, even I've never worked on this. I think I began somewhere in about PS III or IV as I recall.

Yep, layers only arrived in version 3, and believe it or not, but multiple-undo wasn't developed until version 5! It wasn't until v7 that Photoshop was "feature complete" as we know it today, everything else since that time were enhancements and further developments on existing tools. The most notable additions since then were the UI redesign in CS3 and content aware fill in CS5. CS1&2 were terrible IMO, I remember how a lot of people sat on PS7 for a long while and it wasn't until CS4 that I myself switched over.

Reminds me, about 13 years ago my wife finally convinced me to get rid of my diskettes & manuals for Word Perfect 1 (Apple 2e OS). I also got ride of my dos diskettes.

Just shows that we soon forget just how far we've come with the likes of Photoshop these days.
