Stolen Pentax 645Z +55mm f/2.8

At 23 March 2015 the Pentax 645Z standard kit was stolen from the Pentax retailer "Photopoint" shop at Estonia.
Never know where this would show up. But it definitely will.

The serial numbers of the stolen gear:
645Z body: 6062766
55mm f/12.8:
4254105

Photopoint has offered 1000 reward for any clue that leads this stolen 645Z kit back to the owners possession.
Please send the information to: info@photopoint.ee

You may also want to put them in the serial number database on the site.

For a rare and valuable specialty item like this, it would be very adviseable to keep an eye on ebay listings originating in your region matching its description. Might be tougher itf it's a new-in-box item, since they rarely lis tthe seitral number or give actual photos, but if it's a used item, you might want to ask any sellers for actual photos of the item, then check against that.

perhaps it will be also good idea to let them contact Lenstag, so the equipment will be listed in its database and flagged when spotted or someone trying to register it as theirs?

More info? How does it work? I haven't heard of that option before.

This is their website, basically they provide database for camera equipment with serial #. I've heard a case (or two) that it located the lost equipment to original owner... so giving it a try won't hurt.

They keep stolen gear list on the web, public (not disclosing the owner, but serial #) so you could also check if you are getting stolen gear from pawnshops or used camera shops...

Verification process usually require mobile photo upload of actual gear, but this case I think you probably can contact them directly and probably explain situation.
