First weekend with 645z

I decided to stick with the pentax system for a while longer, and upgraded my 645D to the Z. It arrived just in time for the weekend and I had a chance to shoot a few test images. I don't regret the purchase one bit and I'm loving the camera even more than I did the 645D. The live view and high ISO are game changers. Now I need to find some sherpas that will agree to lug this baby up to some higher altitudes.

Great images but that first portrait is a standout. The deer with the urban landscape is also evocative of a tableau.

Wow, these shots remind me of the first images I ever saw from the 645D a few years ago. (That's a very good thing.) Totally agree with the commenters above. Thanks for sharing. Are you taking applications for Sherpas?

LOVE! that first image. You can only freeze snow like that at high ISOs, but that image looks beautifully clean. Great shot.

Agree with above posts.
Also, that's a poignant photo of the deer(s) with all the rubbish (trash) on the ground.

In the picture of the man w/his dog its the man's eyes I'm drawn to. They're haunting. Great shot.

Fantastic images! We're these processed via Lightroom or VSCO or are they straight out of the camera? The lighting, composition and subject matter are superb! Kudos!!
