I inquired with Profoto about the B1's and any updates so that the 645z can utilize HSS and TTL. Below is their response.

"Unfortunately we can’t communicate future products. The only solution we have today for the 645 is the regular Air Remote Profoto Air Remote. The Air Remote will provide full remote functionality for Profoto Air flashes but not TTL and HSS."

unfortunately the same is said for K3 too.

I have a B1 and I love it to pieces but long for HSS.

The problem though is that the B1 won't let you to shoot lower than 8.0 on the power scale in HSS mode. So I've had it where I just need a bit of fill flash with my D800, but the 8.0 is too bright for my needs. It's the one pitfall of that light that I can find.

Will the Profoto sync at the higher speeds with a trigger...?? I have some HK-Specials that I purchased I use a AF-540FGZ as my master then one to three strobes as my slaves with the Aokatec AK-TTL just got everything seem to work --- have not field tested it yet... was able to stop my dog in mid-air jump... will post pictures when I do my field tests....

The B1's will only do HSS with Canon or Nikon cameras using the Profoto Air-Remote transmitter. Hopefully, Profoto will offer compatibility with Pentax soon.
