I have a LOT TO LEARN. I'm curious, are the profiles stored and then selected somehow in LR? I have never really even thought of this process. Pardon the dumb questions. I have been shooting BW 8x10 for the last 8 years, its been forever since Ive worried about color.

you do not need a LL account - even if it would be advisable to have one - but with GetDPI you get the directly…

Anders Torger would help create even better profiles for the645z if we can send him standardized shots (D65 and Standard A) of camera charts. So if somebody has such an equipment pls PM me.
At the risk of reviving an old thread, does anyone have the ability to readily shoot glare-free test charts in D65 and tungsten (StdA) lighting?

Anders can create a dual-illuminant profile that will be even better than the fantastic ones we already have, but the only reasonable quality test shot he has is the D50 image from Imaging Resource that he used for the current versions of the profiles.

It's reasonably involved to create high quality test charts (see Making a camera profile with DCamProf) but the results should be great if anyone is set up to be able to do it.

If there is anyone in the Toronto area that has a good setup to do this (the the proper test charts) I can bring both the 645D and 645Z to shoot the charts that Anders could use for (hopefully) creating a dual illuminant profile for the community.

Latest release of LRCC 2015.6/6.6 has this in the release notes: "The software has also added camera matching color profiles for the Pentax K-3 II, K-1, and 645Z cameras. "

Anyone notice a difference?

I see better color separation in some of my files. This could be to the saturation boost in some colors which makes things like dense foliage seem more alive. I still like some of the profiles from huelight and the ones Anders built. It seems that every profile has it's strengths and weaknesses.
