Talisker at dusk

A lesser known location for landscape photography on the Isle of Skye, Talisker offers wonderful photographic opportunities. Bathed in the soft sunset light, looking completely different as the tides come and go, Talisker's magic never cease to amaze me. Definitely one of my favourite locations on Skye.

Taken with the Pentax 645Z and the 28-45mm f/4.5. Enjoy! Best,

Vieri

Incredible shot!
But I must say, I saw the title and thought it might be a photo of a bottle of scotch

Same here, and a fine single malt it is too!

That's a wonderfully moody shot! Skye is one of my favourite Scottish areas and Talisker the first distillery I ever visited.

I too came for the whiskey, but stayed for a stunning landscape!

Thank you very much everyone! Much appreciated For those who expected / hoped to find a bottle of scotch, I am sorry - only a sea of water this time... Talisker (the single malt) is one of my favs though!

Nor me, mind you I'm sitting here just now with one of the fine products of the said Carbost distillery... Storm if you can get to sample a dram somewhere, I throughly recommend it.

Storm - In its kind of way, that surely counts as magic as well!

Indeed, but I reserve magic for Distillers Edition, 57° North and especially Port Ruighe IMHO.

And like all good magicians... they have an assistant, so once you've got them, I'll assist you with the drinking of them.

Sounds great! Let me find them first, though - and hope that I don't get too carried away and drink them all before you'll get there!

Just give the heads up a little earlier then and can be there for the grand uncorking.

Besides if you finish them all off, I don't want to be the one to have to carry you home and explain to Mrs Madshutter...
