645Z SD card problem?

When I take out the card from slot #1 the camera move to slot #2. Thats OK, but when I put card #1 back to the slot camera stay on slot #2 and I have to change this back in menu. Takes time and sometimes really annoying. Is this software bug or Pentax design? Any suggestions or workaround?

"Working as intended" but definitely a nuisance. After you put SD1 back in, remove SD2, power cycle, and replace SD2.
