FA 35mm Micro adjust!!!

I have done a quick test on my FA 35mm 3.5 lens and found it was front focusing by some distance. I have set it by -20 which is all the way and it probably could do with a bit more! Is this normal?

Thanks

Never heard of this lens. Did you mean FA 35/2?
Which camera did you use the lens on? K5? Have tried the lens on newer cameras, such as K3, KS2, KS1, OR K5II?
Focus issue sometime is from both lens and camera. I do have a lens had big BF issue on K5, +10 was not enough to bring the focus point back. And on K5II, it only needs +2.
So try it on another later camera.

To the OP, it seems to me like your lens is whacked. I've never had any autofocus 645 lens (FA or DFA/DA) out by that much. In fact, every lens I currently use on my 645D's and Z's is so close (for my purposes anyway) that I haven't micro-adjusted any of them.

Hi yes thanks for this was my thoughts exactly, for this reason I'm going to return it. BTW have you any thoughts on the FA 75MM on the Z?

Indeed, Thanks for the clarification.

Yes!!! FA 75mm is great ! Its also the tiniest lens for this system. Just the compact size is enough to keep it in my kit. While the focal length is covered by a standard zoom and also the p67 75mm AL this compact beauty ends up going places with me the others dont........
