Well not a new source, but the same one. Maybe dxo even gets to publish it now.

and that's why we buy cameras like K10D, K-01, K-5IIs, K-3..
Got pretty much most things covered at a solid price point

That table would have been a bit more convincing without the extreme value for the Sports category. I haven't seen many 645Z sports pictures posted.

I did some sports with 645D in the past, so I guess one can also with the 645Z. Much faster with 3 fps.

Have you guys ever read a DXO review, Sports is nothing to do with sports, it's related to ISO. Landscape is to Dynamic Range and Portrait is to Colour.

I don't understand why the sports score is the difference. I guess the body could take great sports shots with a dedicated sports oriented lens. But we have no dedicated sports oriented lenses as such. O do not
At DxO they call the noiselevel where the image is still great (sertain amount of noise) the Sports mode. This because in sports photographers need to jump into high levels of iso due to the light available and fast shutter times needed. Nothing to do with sports!

Ok then role on the updated 80-160 HD OS and updated longer lenses. Make them crisp and nimble in the AF department. We'll see lines of Zs pitch side. But really only 0.1 better landscape (dynamic range) than the D810? Love the files from the Z having tried out the D810. No contest AFAIAC

I'm surprised at the Z/810 closeness, as well. The low ISO noise is well documented. Smokes everything else out there.

I have to ask why they don't call sports high ISO, landscape dynamic range and portrait color. What kind of weird obfuscation is that?

It's all bullsh1t though over at DXO, they down res every file to 8Mp. Who cares about 8mp when you are starting at 36 through 50mp.

They need to start again and down res to 16 or 24mp, that is the new standard.

Tom, I hear ya.

Not sure and have never been sure what they were trying to say. The results though are pretty much on par with real life results.

I have been looking at Olympus, Sony Apsc and Pentax Apsc files in Lightroom lately and they stack up to what DXO results say.

To be fair to the competition, given the format and the price point, you would expect the 645Z to blow everything else away. It's like pitting a Spitfire or a Mitsubishi Zero against a squadron of Sopwith Camels. I'm actually surprised the margin isn't larger.
