Would be interesting to know if the 33-55 at least at f/8 or f/11 is as sharp on the 645D or 645Z as a really good zoom, for example the 45-85 . I am pretty sure it is not able to match the 28-45 at any aperture. But the same sharpness as the 45-85 would be sufficient for many things and sharpness wide open is not a killer criterion for landscape photography. Just as an example, the 55-110 is not able to offer the sharpness of the 45-85 at the border. Nevendon at f/11.
It is quite hard to find full size landscape sample pictures of the 33-55 taken using a 645D or something 645z.

The FA 45-85 is sharper than the 33-55 at F:11 on film at least. It also has a bit higher contrast. never used a digital 645.
