Contax 645 80/2 on 645z

Yeeha!

It just arrived - modified for 645 mount. 3 weddings this weekend with it and a overseas weddings next week. Pumped!

First impressions are incredible. It's light, easy to use, and surprisingly sharp for f2. Bokeh is just stupidly good.

Am I the only guy with this?

It certainly looks clean sitting on the 645Z body. Looking forward to your thoughts. Nice one!

Where did you get the mount modified?

Nice.

For the Rolleiflex you could also get a Xenotar 80mm/2.

I have never been drawn to fast standard lenses, but both would be a reason for an exception.

hey guys 2 very quick samples. I'd post more but 3 weddings in a row I'm tired

I'll post something else in a day or 2. These look a bit soft due to imgur.com downsizing but they are actually surprisingly sharp!

Love this! and the idea of using 3rd party lenses in general.

Yes. As a wedding/people guy I'm ok with this but certainly not for everyone.
