So at any rate, the OP ought try out a 105/2.4 with adapter.

And, for the record, I will buy your 21mm 2.4 prototype as well.

I tested my 105/2.4 with an adapter and found it isn't real sharp until f5.6. I was hoping for better performance wide open.

This gent (someone here on the forum, anyone know?), Chris Wilson, seems to have a fair number of 67-105/2.4 shots taken with the 645D....
