My Nikon SB-24 Does NOT flash on my 645 N

Is this flash not compatible with this camera? If so, what is compatible? I only use Manual flash. Suggestions ?

It should work in manual if you connect a pc-sync cord between the 645N and the SB-24

Hi Bob, I tried it with film in the camera and set to X. It works. Thank you
