645 to K mount adapters

Are there any that allow use of the aperture control or AF? I'm thinking the answer is no but I want to be sure I'm not overlooking a better adapter.
Just aperture would be nice, but AF even better!

Thanks!

There aren't any that I know of- all you get is the aperture coupler so that the camera can stop the lens down. This also necessitates an aperture ring on the lens.

Perhaps Pentax is working on a modern adapter, though personally I think the appeal would be limited, since all FA lenses have aperture rings and why adapt something like the 28-45mm, etc?

Just thinking of leveraging lenses I already own in 645 for K mount. I don't have the 28-45 but was thinking mostly A prime lenses like the A 200/4 or A 35/3.5 which is why aperture would be more important to me than AF.
No big deal, just wondering. I'll get a "dumb" one.

I have a genuine Pentax one for sale at the moment. Works fine on all A and FA lenses with the aperture rings.

Bought it new (new old stock), but then returned my K1 and haven't used it.

It works well.

2351HD - pls let me know if mattb123 doesn't buy your genuine Pentax adapter. I bought a Kipon adapter in the last week or so but may be interested in the Pentax one anyway.

thanks, David

It is still available. I tried the Kipon too and the Pentax is better in my view.

The Pentax one is nice I'm sure but when it costs more than the lens I wanted to adapt I can't see it being worthwhile for me.

Yes, my conclusion also. The Kipon one works quite well. I've only received my camera today so it's a bot early for me to draw clear conclusions however it may be permitting some internal reflections, although if so it's very directionally-dependant.

My 67 adapter did that and I painted the inside with flat model enamel and now it's better.

was hoping Ricoh will have one soon, with AF. I think they will make one.
Especially they market the K-1 to go along side 645 system - the only downside I can see is that 645 lenses are only f2.8 'fast'. But for landscape, should be fine.

I will get one if they made a AF 645 to K adapter, for under 400.

I have a 3rd party K/645 adapter that had reflection problems. I glued the fuzzy half of black Velcro inside and that helped tremendously.
