Hmmm, I've discovered Lightroom is not returning my search results this lens in my catalog! It says I have taken a total of two but I know the number is considerably higher.
Here's one I found in my Flickr stream taken at 85 on the 45-85 stopped down to f/16. It was sleeting so it may not be the best demonstration of sharpness but I have never noticed it to be lacking in that regard. I seem to shoot at the wide end of the zoom range much more often.

Ah! found my LR issue. Both my 45-85 and 80-160 are listed twice in my catalog with most of the images associated with the second listing. Weird.
Here's one more. I can't detect any problems stopped down at this FL.

645D, FA 45-85 @85, f/18, ISO 100

Yes it looks pretty good. No real way for me to see these images at 100% crops on Flickr is there?

I like your shots btw, have a natural look to them, very real and not over processed.

Thanks! I aim for a realistic look.

There is if I upload a full sized image but I do not upload over 1000px usually. I bet there are some reviews out there that go into more depth. I'm not much for lens testing and prefer to just look at the images I get from actual use. This one seems to be great, especially considering how relatively inexpensive it is.

Yes I have been holding out for the zoom on the roadmap but it looks like that is nothing but a pipedream at this point. I may look on eBay and see whats available.

Thanks
