Well, if this has been frankenstiened, kudos to who did the work. The covers on 67s, and most other cameras of the era aren't silver underneath, but are brass.
So if someone went to the trouble of stripping off the black enamel, they went to the trouble of chrome plating it.
The photos are terrible, but it doesn't seem to be silver paint - and you might notice some of the levers and rings are bright chromed - I'm sure original 67 ones are black.
So my guess is that it may really be some pretty cool prototype or special edition, despite the ugly markings.
Still, if someone wants to sell camera equipment to photographers on eBay, they really should work harder at taking better pictures of the stuff!
