Identify lens / information

Hello everyone,
I haven't been able to find any information on my lens. Lots of lens out there that are similar, but none have similar marking.
Vivitar K/AR 28mm 1:2.5 67mm filter
No. 22652608
Opinions on lens?

Going to buy an adapter, but wanted to know more about it.
Thanks

Seems like a fairly standard combination Pentax K-A lens/ Ricoh K-R lens.

But that would indicate that this is a 35mm lens, not a medium format lens.

You might like to look at this cut and paste link, There is a rather good list of the various Vivitar 28mm lenses.

It's a Konica AR mount, here's some general info on it: The Vivitar 28 mm f/ 2.5 (Kino, Kiron) Lens. Specs. MTF Charts. User Reviews.

Yours appears to be an M13 Kiron make. As Vivitar 28’s go IMHO the Kiron are good lenses as I recall. I had several of these in the late 90’s, though I don’t recall if I had a 67mm version. That’s some big filters for a medium-fast 28.

You are right. This is a Konica AR mount lens. The focal flange distance is only 40.5 mm. Shortest of any 35mm SLR mount.

Those are nice lenses. Not always the easiest to use, but probably easier than the 24mm close-focus I inherited. Super-long focus throw.

The 28 should be fun to play with, though you might want to get a screw-in lens hood for it.

Yeah, that is not a bad lens, but definitely a Konica mount...
