Try also Microsoft ICE, free to use. Works great.

I stitched a panorama with ICE. As you said, it works and is easy to use. Thanks for the suggestions. However, I've had trouble opening the exported file.

This can happen when the stitched tiff file is very large. Large X and Y measurements, rather than total megapixels of the file. Therefore, only some graphics programs can open the stitched file. From memory it depends on what version of tiff file the program can handle.

I found it more of an issue with stitched 645Z files, than say a stitched Canon 1DX file.

Windows Photo Viewer and Windows Photo Gallery can't open the big files. They were still loading after several minutes, so I gave up. Thanks for the comment.

GIMP or PhotoShop should work.

Why you don't use Adobe Bridge? It is free software anyway.
