Favoured Portrait Lens ?

I have made a few portraits like that—the focus is on honest portrayal, which often finds something deeper than surface attractiveness.

A girlfriend of mine in the deep past was a model, and she could paste on a beautiful smile no matter what her mood. But you never could know what that mood was.

Sweet, sheet film?

I did a woman's picture like these. I could see from the negative that no way, no how, that she'd ever want anyone to see that. So I never scanned it.

No and yes. No, it’s not sheet film, but a Canon 5D DSLR with an 85mm lens at f/1.8. (Similar to a 105/2.4 shot wide open on a 645z.) I’d have screwed it up using the view camera—too much time to overthink it, both on my part and the subject’s.

Yes, no woman I know would accept that much TRVTH.

Thanks for all the suggestions guys. I'm probably going to look out for the 135LS at some point. Whilst AF lenses would be nice I really bought the 645 to scratch a specific itch for a landscape camera - time will tell where it takes me :-)

I've already started looking at lenses for the Pentacon Six . I already have 35mm LBA - I really don't need another one !
Let me know if you are looking for a 645 135mm f/4 LS.
