645N Reading "E"

Hello!

My 645N that I've recently acquired has started acting strange, I've put about 5 rolls through it, however, now when I attempt to load film and fire the shutter to wind the film, It hums and then reads "E" on the LCD screen. I've tried new batteries but it still continues to read "E" and not wind the film. Any ideas on what i'm doing wrong or should I go ahead and take it in for repair?

Thanks!

Haven't seen an 'E' and the manual only lists 'Err' in the troubleshooting part. Is it possible that 'Err' is actually being displayed but inadequate eye relief makes seeing the 'rr' difficult?

In the manual it says that E means the film was loaded improperly, but Ive definitely loaded it correctly
