Pentax 67 RH Grip

Hi,

I just did a Google search and there are several options there that you could pursue.

Regards.

Just got my wife a P67. For the right grip, I noticed most of the ones for sale on eBay are 3D printed. I have a person that can print them up for me for cheaper than eBay, so that's we are doing.

Don’t forget your friend needs to design for the two retaining screws and nuts.

I think my EBay version. was like $30 delivered from a supplier in the UK. I can find no fault in it except that the first knuckle of my right hand middle finger can rub the area near the mirror lock up button.

The design I found has the holes for the screws and nuts and includes the size for the screws and nuts. My cost for getting the grip printed was to buy my friend a spool of filament, which can print many grips.

A known problem with fitting a finger grip to the right side of the Pentax 6x7 / 67 is the hazard of accidentally activating mirror lock-up, on those cameras fitted with this. That said, it is good practice to tape over the MLU nib when storing the camera, because movement inside a camera bag will easily trigger the MLU, leaving you with a flat battery and the irritating reset procedure to get going again.

That's good advice. I'll pass that along to my wife. We always carry extra batteries with us, just in-case something like this hapens.

Not advancing the film until your ready to shoot eliminates this potential, right? I do agree the 3D grip is a tad close to the ML switch.
