Can anyone recommend their favorite flash triggers for the 645Z? Thanks.

The K 1, K 1 II, K 3, K 3 II, K S 2 and the K 50 all work perfectly with the Cactus V 6 II system. They work with Pentax speed flash AF 540 FGZ, AF 540 FGZ II, AF 360 FGZ , and the AF 360 FGZ II, as well as Cactus own speed flash RF 60 x or both at the same time. The off camera flash possibilities are endless. This is the system I use and I'm very happy with the performance. You can go to the Cactus website or YouTube to verify the 645Z usage.

As I know, Godox XPro-P and upcoming (on Amazon from July 15, 2019) X2T-P will work on Pentax cameras, at least on K-1, using Godox flashes and strobes

since cactus vii and their rf60 flash are universal across many camera brands, sometimes they pop up on ebay cheap. i use my vii to trigger canon 580ex and 550ex from my k-1

If you want more powerful lights, the Godox Xpro-P with AD200, Ad400 or AD600 would be what I would choose.

I am using Cactus V6II and RF60X with my 645Z, along with an AF-540FGZ.

Thanks. I got the Cactus triggers and they were firing my Alien Bee's great! All of a sudden they stopped seeing each other and won't fire. Anyone experience this?

Check that the Rx are on the same frequency band (channel) and have the same ID number as the Tx, and are in the expected letter group. (I only use the V6II as a Tx, with R60X as Rx, so I don't have any experience with using the V6II as an Rx.)

Thanks. Yeah the settings are all correct... I never changed them once I set them. I even reset both to factory default and then tuned them again and they fire once in a while... like every 5th shot. I have an old Radio Popper unit that I piggy-backed on the Cactus and it works fine with that. I guess I got a bad unit? Either way... I figured a work around. Thanks!

In these cases it may be helpful to check the voltage on the batteries to ensure that they are well charged.
