Pentax 645N standard camera service in the uk?

Hi All

anyone know the service places who can take care of Pentax 645N and cost.
Camera unused for 10 years.
Everything is fine as far as I know but just to make sure and be on the safe side.

Got 1 quote for £140+VAT

You could try Asahi Photo in Brentford although I am not sure if they are even going any more.

You will be lucky to find more than one UK repairer to be honest.

well, look like. Got only 1 quote from Luton Camera Repair.
£140+VAT for clean shutter magnets, replace light proofs, check and clean up.

Looks like there's John Pye Technical from https://www.ricoh-imaging.co.uk/en/service-centre.html.Never heard of them. But as the previous only Pentax service centre closed recently (I understand), it looks like Ricoh found somebody else - gave them a service manual and a few tools ... ;-).

Try giving Newton and Ellis in Liverpool a call. If your camera is working and simply needs a CLA they might do it. I cannot say they will definitely undertake Pentax work but nothing ventured, nothing gained.
