I have the 67 55-100 zoom with a PH-RBB 95mm hood, everything I find on the web suggests this is the hood for the 67 90-180 - are they the same?

Yes, those hoods are identical. I have both lenses and both feature the same tulipan hood

There should be a database of compatible hoods somewhere - its always a pain to locate missing hoods

The lens reviews section is missing the hood info for both lenses, hence my question.
