Pentax 67ii AE prism Exposure Mode Switch Issue

Hello! I was wondering if anyone could offer me some insight with my Pentax 67ii AE prism problem. The switch that puts the AE meter into matrix mode has stopped working properly. It remains at center weighted even when switched into matrix. I can see the matrix mode indicator light up when the switch is halfway between matrix and centre weighted. It still switches from centre weighted into spot, though. Is the contact on the switch dirty, or the contacts between the camera and the prism? Should I send it in for repairs, or is it an easy fix? Thank you!!

I had a prism like that. I undid the screws holding the prism cover on and something snapped back inside prism and the three metering modes worked properly.
