Medium format transparency duping?

I'll use the K-1 on a Pentax bellows with slide attachment for 35mm film. Also have 645, 6x7, and 6x9 transparencies to copy some day. The Pentax bellows will be replaced by macro lens and light table. Would the K-1 with Pentax DFA 100 macro or 645Z with Pentax A 120 macro be the top choice? 645Z has more resolution (pixel wise at least) but the K-1 could be used in Pixel Shift mode.

Thanks,
barondla

645Z=51.4MP
K1=36MP

In terms of resolution with pixel shift, it's splitting hairs. To me the natural choice would be matching the aspect ratios of the originals with the K1 FF at 3:2, whereas with the MF 645Z it at 4:3.
In other words use the 645Z for the 645 and 67, but the K1 for the 6x9.

Has any one used Pixel Shift in slide replication? The real question is does Pixel Shift pull out any additional information from the dark areas on the slide?

I reckon frame averaging would do that better, while pixel shift would largely add resolution. Frame averaging can, of course, be done manually, even without that feature on the camera.
