Latest firmware update for 645Z?
The used 645Z I just picked up shows firmware version 1.23
Is that the latest firmware?

The latest is v1.30, which was released in on 29th June, 2017

No worries... I have used that version since its release and never experienced any issues. But obviously follow the instructions religiously when doing the upload, including having a full battery. A camera powering down in mid-update is likely to mean a visit to a service facility and you don't want that ;-)
