When you compare pictures taken in exactly the same conditions, you realise both optics are equally sharp. But the 67 lens renders more bluish (colder) colors while the 645 gives warmer colors. Of the two renditions, the 67 M 200 mm f/4 is truer to life. Upper image taken with the 67 lens and lower image taken with the 645 lens, both at 1/400 sec, f/11 tripod-mounted.

By fiddling with the WB on my Mac, I was able to match truer colors from the 645 FA 200 mm f/4 image. The 645 lens is intrinsically warmer (more yellowish) than the 67 lens. I noticed the same thing with the 67 M 55-100 mm f/4.5 zoom being "colder" than the equivalent 645 FA 55-110 mm f/5.6 zoom. Sharpness and contrast are practically the same for the two 200 mm, this surprised me a lot. The 645 FA is autofocus and much easier to handle due to its smaller size and weight. I will use them both in alternance in the future.

The K3 produces awesome images in its own right. You can't make enlargements as huge as medium-format from it but it's truly good.

Actually, I am now thinking maybe the Df. Small and light. And the 28-105 and 150-600 zooms. And only a monopod in case I want the long end of the long zoom....
