Has anyone besides Pentax made lenses for the 645 or 67?

I remember a company making a teleconverter for the 67. There are also lenses that can be adapted like my beloved Arsat 30. There were a few Lensbabys. Has anyone else built lenses for 645 or 67?

Thanks,
barondla

I don't know for certain, but I believe Mamiya made 645 and 67, no?

all lenses that fit 6x6 format will cover 645, maybe 67 format. According to wiki info about flange to focal distance there were some manufacturers of 645, 67 cameras. So, I think, there should be lenses too.

Mamiya 645 63.30 mm SLR 6×4.5 cm
Novoflex [de] A-mount 63.3 mm SLR
Contax 645 64.00 mm SLR 6×4.5 cm
Pentax 645 70.87 mm SLR 6×4.5 cm 1984–
Rollei SLX 74.00 mm SLR 6×6 cm –2005
Pentacon Six 74.1 mm SLR 6×6 cm 1956–1992
Hasselblad 2000 & 500 74.90 mm SLR Hasselblad V mount
Hasselblad 1000F & 1600F 82.10 mm SLR
Pentax 6×7 84.95 mm or 85.00 mm SLR 6×7 cm
Bronica PG 85 mm SLR 6×7 cm 1983–2002
Rollei SL66 102.80 mm SLR 6×6 cm
Mamiya RZ67 105 mm SLR 6×7 cm
Mamiya RB67 111 mm SLR 6×7 cm

My interpretation is that he is asking not about adapted lenses but lenses that are natively mountable because a third party made and marketed them to fit the camera.

If you mean third-party for native mount (e.g. Schneider, Zeiss, and so on), the answer would be a qualified no with the qualifier being that it is a well-kept secret, if so.

Yes, I think that as well. AFAIK only Pentax (or Takumar) made lenses for their 645 and 6x7 mounts.

I don't know if they originally were made for Pentax 67 bayonet or later were adapted, but it is possible to find lenses of other brands that can be mounted on the Pentax 6x7/67, for example

Zeiss Jena, Pentacon 500 mm f/5.6 MC for Pentax 6x7
or
Meyer Görlitz Tele-Megor 400 mm f/5.5 for Pentax 6x7
or
Zeiss Jena, Sonnar 300 mm f/4 MC for Pentax 6x7

DBA is a Craigslist kind of thing in Denmark. I am not the seller and don't know anything further about these lenses.

Furthermore:

RARE! Carl Zeiss Jena Sonnar MC 180mm f/2.8 Medium Format Lens mount: PENTAX 67
and
RARE! Carl Zeiss Jena MC Sonnar 300mm/4 adapted for Pentax 6x7 67 II

and I am sure there are more out there.

I have a Russian made 500mm mirror lens made for Pentax 645. It is not an interchangeable mount that the end-user could change. It is a Pentax native mount in 645. I don't know of any other Pentax 645 third party lens but there may be some out there.

I have a Teleplus 1.5x converter for my 6x7. Does that count?

Since the Pentax 645 registration distance is shorter than the East German and Russian medium format slrs, not surprising to see manual aperture lenses easily modified easily from those mounts

sure, there is the TS-PC Super-Rotator MC HARTBLEI 45mm f/3.5 which is a tilt shift lens in a Pentax 645 mount. I think they also made/make these for Contax 645 and Pentacon Six mounts.

Neat! I never heard of non-Pentax lenses that had direct mounts to the 645.

The Komura Komuranon 500 f7 is the only lens that I am aware of that was sold specifically in a P67 mount by a third party manufacturer. The Rodenstock Imagon also appears in a P67 mount from time to time but I don't know whether it was sold this way by Rodenstock. Komura also made 2x converters as did other manufacturers and these were also sold under other brand names.
