The four big buttons on the 645Z prism.

Never use them. Don't even remember what they control, unless I'm looking at the camera. Think one switches Raw on and off. They are nicely placed big buttons, anyone use them? If so, what do you use them for?

Thanks,
barondla

Tried that when the Z first arrived. Got locked in auto bracketing and it took quite a while to return to normal operation. I need to revisit those settings.

Thanks,

I only use the bracketing button. As far as I recall they are programmable, although very limited.

I use the bracketing often, and AF area sometimes.

I changed the RAW button to Digital depth-of-field preview, as I have the optical DOF preview on the on/off switch. I find this quite handy.

Lock button - I just tried it ! I think that it was the first time since I've owned the camera that I've tried it.

So... on the firmware wish list, maybe we could ask for these to be more flexible in re-programming them.
