Dirty focusing screen

I have been using my 645D with great pleasure for several weeks.

The previous owner delivered it to me in perfect condition, except for a few specks of dust on the focusing screen.

Even blowing, the dust does not move and it would be necessary to disassemble the screen to clean it on the upper face.

I know this doesn't show on files, but it's annoying ...

I ask the forum experts: is it a complicated job (to be done in assistance) or can it be done at home?

Thank you

If there is still dust on your screen after blowing, then leave it there. Attempting to clean a focus screen is likely to leave it in a worse state. I have tried.

The dust is always in perfect focus, so it is on the top of the screen: so even blowing it doesn't move.

I know it's possible to replace the 645D's focusing screens, so I was wondering if removing the original one for cleaning is an easy job (with the proper tools of course).

I don't have the directions handy at present, and haven't yet changed any screens myself, but the kits that Pentax sold had a pair of tweezers that were used to grab a tab on the screen to pull it out and insert a replacement. The directions are probably on the Internet somewhere.

Seemingly needless to say, but I will anyway, there is risk of damage working in that area, so extreme care is needed.

I recently came across this thread about cleaning K-70 screen:
Focus Screen removal on K-70 - PentaxForums.com
I followed the instructions for cleaning my K-5 and it work well.
Easy, took a few minutes, removed dust with blower, reinstalled.

Unfortunately I don't think the procedure is EXACTLY the same for the 645D ...

I think I will either avoid intervening or go to official assistance.

Thanks for the replies!
