Pentax 645N only in TTL mode for Strobe

Hi, I recently got a Godox strobe light, and an external Godox hotshoe trigger for my Pentax645N. I want to shoot in complete Manual flash mode, but no matter what I try, the Pentax will only fire the strobe light when I'm in TTL mode. In Manual Flash mode, the strobe won't fire. Does Pentax645N only work in TTL mode? Is there any way to use Manual Flash mode on a Pentax645N? I have no way of controlling my strobe strength otherwise if I'm forced to only use TTL.

Not having ever tried non-TTL on my N, I delved into the operating manual to find no mention of using any flash other than particular Pentax flashes. It seems it is bulb mode or bust. Here is a snippet from the specifications page:

you can most certainly use the Pentax 645N in full manual mode with strobes, it just depends on your trigger. You didn't list the model of Godox trigger, but they have at least one that can use a PC cord that would plug into the 645N's PC terminal on the non-grip side of the body, above the multiple exposure switch. The terminal is usually covered by a small, black cap.

Heh. Thanks. I completely forgot about the historical approach (which isn't actually pre-history for me, but that may be why I forgot).
