Pentax 67 MLU serial number - where is it located?

Hello,

Perhaps it's a stupid question but where is a serial number located on the body of Pentax 67 MLU? Can't find it.

Hi,

No, it is not a stupid question, as we are all here to help and learn.

When you are holding the camera with the back towards you as if you were lifting the camera to your eye to look through the eye level view finder it is on the top plate above the battery check button.

There will be seven digits commencing with a 4.

Finally I found the serial number - it is covered with the rubber ring of the metre pentaprism.
