I took this image with the FA 45-85 mm f/4.5 set at 70 mm FL. A fast prime would not have performed much better in this situation.

The only lens filling the bill of a fast and sharp prime is the P67 75 mm f/2.8.

Does the 645 75mm lens not qualify too? It isn't as sharp, but (from what I have seen from others) pretty sharp....

The 645 75mm is so small it looks as if you dropped the camera and squashed the lens. I sold my 75mm because it made my camera look stupid. No offense intended.

I wish there was a 45-55mm or so, same size as the 75mm.
Be nice for street work.

F4.5 and up would do, no need to be faster. I'd probably never go under F8 anyhow.

If you need to travel "light" and be innocuous, nothing beats the P67 75 mm and 165 mm, plus both are f/2.8 for viewing and both are very sharp starting at f/5.6.
