Pentax 6x7 55-100mm connection issue.

First time posting and I have a problem with a lens I just purchased for my 6X7 MLU.
When I mount the 55-100mm f4.5 my shutter is very erratic , some times the shutter stays open as long as the shutter release is depressed.
If I put my 200mm or 165mm lens on the camera it works properly.
Has anyone had an issue like this?

I have not noticed that behaviour with my copy of the lens, perhaps try checking the aperture stop down lever is moving smoothly and the aperture is nice and snappy. As there is no electrical connections and just mechanical connections, that is all I can think of, good luck getting it sorted as it is a very nice lens with handy focal lengths for the 67

Does this happen at every shutter speed or just certain shutter speeds?

I have that lens and camera and have never had that issue. Also, I have never heard of that problem before with this camera system. Very strange. Maybe try returning the lens to the seller?
