6x7 to digital?

My husband has a 6x7 that his Dad gave him. Over the years, we've acquired 45, 105 and 200mm lens.
Is there a pentax digital body that can fit these lenses? The 6X7 is always having mirror problems..
It would be great to use the lenses on a digital body.
(I posted this question already on the general photography forum, but this is a probably a appropriate forum)
Thanks, Isabel

Pentax K2000, K200D, K10D and K20D! The K10D is discontinued but could be available at a good price.

The K2000 is easiest to use if you're new to DSLR's, but still has a lot of advanced features so that it can grow with you.

Frankly, I have a feeling that your husband would be mildly-to-terribly let down by the double crop factor of any Pentax digital body (MF->FF->APS-C). E.g, the 45 is a super wide angle on the 67, on a K20D, it's going to look like a medium tele.

And the 645D that may or may not come out within the next couple of years is going to cost over 10K for sure.

If you're really serious about using Pentax MF lens on a digital body and cannot wait a year or two and/or cannot justify the expense, then I suggest you at least consider a full frame dSLR. I'm sure there are Pentax 67 to any one of the three FF mounts (Nikon F, Canon EF, Sony Alpha). i'd recommend the alpha if, for nothing else, the built-is optical image stabilizer. my2c.

Personally I would pick up a newer model, a 67 instead of a 6x7 and you will not have any mirror problems like they had with the first versions, the 6x7.

I find the 67 lenses to be extremely heavy on my K10D/K20D and kind of a pain to use and my 645 lenses are not much better. You could wait to see what Pentax is doing with the 645 digital camera they have had in the works for quite a while now, but I expect it will be fairly expensive.

Thanks, for all your expert suggestions, I'll look into the dSLRs, as well as the 67.

You can also get a Nikon or Canon FF body. There are adapters that let you mount the 67 lenses on them.
