P645 Arsat 30mm f:3.5

I'm searching a fisheye lens for my 645N, and found this Arsat / Pentacon 6 / Kiev + P645 mount adapter.

The lens resolution is 60/14 lines per mm (center/edge). Is this good ?

Or is there an alternative lens ?

This is suposed to be the Eastern Europe version of the 30mm Zeiss lens for the Hassy C series.
Just like all other Eastern Europe optics you are taking a chance as to the workmanship and optical assembly.

My copy was not bad but not great. I only use it over the Pentax A35mm when I needed the extra FOV and can stop down to f8-11.
However, the aperature broke and while in the shop my repairman (family friend over 40 years mention my copy was not as good as another that he repaired the aperature on. He then took apart the lens completely and reassembled it on his optics bench and the difference i night and day compare to before. However the Pentas A35mm still has an edge over it.

I am surprised that this lens has an angle of view of 180° and the 35mm only 90°...

Sad that my 10-17 won't fit

You have to careful with these angle of view.

The 30Arsat is the diagonal 180 degrees from corner to opposit corner. It is a fisheye design so at the same focal length you will get wider angle of view but you get curvatures along the edges. The 180 angle of view is for 6x6 Pentacon frame so when you adapt it to 645 you will lose some of this "view".
