Does have SMC Takumar 6x7 400/4 tripod mount?

I have SMC Tak 6x7 300/4 which has not tripod mount and I have problems
to take sharp picture on velvia with critical shutter speeds.

I´m interested in SMC Takumar 6x7 400/4, probably this lens
has tripod mount. I was looking here, at pf lens reviews, there is a picture
of this lens, but no tripod mount on it.

Yes, the 400/4 Takumar has a non-rotating tripod mount.

There are different version of the 400/4, the plain M, SMC-M has a fixed collar. The M*400/4EDIF has a rotating collar with 90deg click locks.

Thanks for reply. Mine will be old one with non-rotating tripod collar.
And what do You think, is it possible to take sharp pictures
with Pentax 67 MLU on Velvia RVP-50 at "critical" shutter speeds?

Yes it is possible. You need MLU and good tripod and camera mounting, weight down the tripod for extra stability and secure the camera with extra support and dampening weight.

The long lens support listed by DW makes a HUGE difference in field situations with 400mm lens. I use the M* version and have vibration problems without the extra support. With the support, I've gotten sharp images with the 1.4X converter in mild wind. Windy conditions have been more troublesome for me than shutter vibration and I shoot mostly Velvia 50 like you do. I pretty much always use mirror lock and a cable release too.

At the current cost for film and processing, the Bogen Long Lens Support is inexpensive technical help!
