Pronouncing "6x7"

Oh how I drool over you-all's MF Pentax systems. It's just not in the cards for me now. BUT, I've been wondering how to properly pronounce "6x7". Is it "six-by-seven"? I imagine that the 67 is pronounced "sixty-seven" and the 645 as "six forty-five", but maybe I'm even wrong about that. Maybe its "six-seven" and "six-four-five" or "six hundred forty-five". Is there a consensus on this fairly insignificant matter?

That's what I'd call it too, six-by-seven, but then I've been known to mis-call things

I call my 645 Six-forty-five. If I had the other, I'd call it Six-forty-five-Dee.

I hadn't caught the irony in my intentionally spelling it "you-all" while at the same time asking about correct pronouncation. I don't even use the phrase very often, but when I write it I like using the older, maybe even archaic, spelling "you-all". It's actually just spelling out the contraction "y'all" or "ya'll" (let's not get into the debate over how to properly spell the contraction), and not using a contraction is always proper. It's all for fun anyway; I'm not even from the US South...

Back on topic, I figured the "six-by-seven" pronouncation was most common. Does anyone have something "official" that shows how Pentax intended it to be called? Not that it really matters, I'm just interested.

Just don't tell me you say yet another one "six-forty-five-en-eye-eye".

I call my 6x7 "seis por siete" or just "sesentaisiete" what means... "six by seven" and "sixty-seven" (it is the 6x7 but I call it that way to make it easier with the can*on and nik*on people)

And the 645 "seis cuarentaicinco" what means "six forty-five"

I just flipped though every page of the Pentax 6x7 System sales brochure. Every reference is "6x7" so that's no help.

I say Six-Seven when referring to the camera and Six-by-Seven when talking about the format.

well that works, except there were two different naming schemes... 6x7 and 67.
