Newbie here. Not a Pentax user (Canon actually) but I am in need of a little advice as it pertains to a Pentax 645N.

I have a family relative who has asked me to sell some photography equipment on his behalf. The equipment consists of a half dozen Sigma lenses (for Minolta film SLR) as well a Pentax 645N package. All are in very good condition and well cared for.

My primary objective at this point is to determine a fair market value for the Pentax system before working on the Sigma lenses.

Not being familiar at all with medium format cameras, the following is what I was able to spec from the Pentax system by inspection:

Pentax 645N body
SMC Pentax-FA 645 1:2.8 75mm lens
Metz Mecablitz SCA3701 32MZ-3 System SCA 3000 flash
Three film backs 120(x2), 220

Can anyone provide a rough estimate from what I could get for these components?

Any advice would be appreciated.

eBay completed listings, KEH are two good sources for market price.

~$500 on eBay, but probably only if the auction closes on the weekend, if it's clean and not abused and everything works. It's a buyer's market right now. You may do better to separate the items. The body is worth about $350 but might go for $400 with a tail breeze. The lens as much as $125, the 120 backs perhaps $40/ea. The flash isn't one I'm familiar with, and consider yourself lucky to get anything at all for the 220 back.

I got mine w/ 120 back, AF 75mm, and a few rolls of film for $450.
