Went on a short hike this morning to get sunrise pictures, the clouds looked as of they had gone on vacation and we had clear skies, or so it looked a few hours before sunrise.
A large part of Hong Kong is in a geo park area with 140m year old weathered volcanic rock formations and the eastern parts of Hong Kong's islands are on the perimeter of the original crater.
Humidity was high just before sunrise which caused some low lying fog which became denser looking towards the horizon. This foggy layer obscured the sunrise over the ocean. But it did create a beautiful diffused light in changing colors as the sunrise unfolded.
I'll post some more pictures of the rock formations when I'm back at my computer, too cumbersome with my phone.
