Recent sunrise from Mt Toolbrunup. Bluff Knoll is on the distant horizon, and is the highest peak in southern Western Australia - the only place in WA that gets an annual dose of snowfall. All taken with Fujifilm GFX50R. First three with Nikon 19mm TS/E, last one with Pentax 645 A 35mm, shifted vertically. All are blends. The Nikon 19mm tends to flare quite significantly, so had to use the 'ol finger over the sun to cut the flare then blend the shots together.
Very nice!

It's been pretty cold here lately. It getting harder to find open water now but soon the ice will be receding.

I returned to the aspen grove where I took my Special Landscape Photo Contest entry last year. It was a 7.5 mile round trip on skis and a beautiful day to be in the aspens pondering how this is all one organism for farther than I can see. I love that feeling of smallness in a big world of wonder! I wanted to return with a larger sensor camera and see what that could do for me.

I was hankering for some trespassing this morning, and a trespassin' I went. Mostly scouting hills above Bryon Airport, CA.

Thanks Mike! That's also a fine image. Your lawlessness makes me think of a song...

It looks a lot like the landscape you see when you start climbing the Grand Staircase (Grand Escalante) in southern Utah, before you reach the "Devil's Backbone".

Hi,

Looks like a spot in the woods on that mountain I grew up on back in New York State.

Nice!
