Thanks but you will get there eventually on your very own. Think about "les quais" early in the morning with perspective correction on the various bridges or the view from Montmartre with a 6x17 back...

I like the Chamonix, it is beautiful and well made. For more details you can read Steve's review at Large Format Forum (just do a search).

Cheers,

Luc
There's a guy local to me who is keen for a Chamonix when one next comes available, I might just search out that review and link him to it. Cool to hear you are happy with it so far.
OK, while I am sitting inside in the southern winter I will view your summer shots from Canada!

I've been a little behind on this thread, some great photos being posted.

Jason, I really liked the whole series of Acros photos you posted.

Here's one of my recent 67 shots. I'm not entirely happy with it but I figured I would share anyways. I think I overexposed it and then scanning was a pain.

Thanks Colton.
Looks OK to me - did you need to do a lot of adjustments after the scan?
Seems to be a nice scene with good potential for more shots - I'm a fan of any moving water and forest shots.

Ya I think this was the most PP I've ever done with a shot.
It's a beautiful spot, especially if you could hike around and get closer. I was stuck shooting from the road so I was pretty limited composition wise.

Lovely! With a very nice impressionistic feel in the background and rows of colour that improve yet a bit more the abstract qualities of the shot. Great job!

Now that I am at home and can view on a decent monitor - this shot looks pretty good. It looks quite natural so I guess you did the right thing with your PP

I hope you guys aren't sick of my 'planes yet?

Pentax 67, 105/2.4, 400TX

This Catalina was sponsored by one of the local vineyards, you can just see their marking on the tail. Corporate sponsorship might be a "necessary evil" for a lot of these old 'planes but in this case it seemed to be appropriate, as the Catalina is sponsored by a winery called Catalina Sounds. How could they turn that down

Another shot with nice colourful background. I think you are doing a good job of showing how nice the OOF blur from the 105/2.4 can be.

Thanks tuco, I will post some more then.
I had a look for shots of the Corsair last night, but only found 2 that I don't think are worth posting I still haven't scanned all my rolls from the trip though, so hopefully I find some more. Meanwhile here's another of my favourite German fighter.

I think this is a repost but here is a plane shot (or should I say engine) I did some time ago. I don't know what kind it is either. And not much to go on in identifying it.

tuco, thanks for posting the shot
A bit of fun to try and ID it too. I think it's a North American B25 Mitchell
If I'm right, it's one of my favourites that I am yet to see in person.

BTW, the Aviation social group on this forum is quite a good little sub community. If you are interested in joining and post this photo, some of the experienced guys will probably be able to ID it 100%.

Yeah, it looks like a Mitchell. I may just do that.
