Thanks, goddo and tuco. Nice to read you like it.

It was early in the morning, end of October in 2009. Forgot my tripod and had to wait for one hour until I could shoot.
I'll be in Venice for two weeks mid November. I know it's probably the most photographed city in the world but I like the silence of it at that time. 2 weeks, just me and my 67II and 645D.

After a little break, I'm back in the game. Now with three MF cameras. These are from the 24:th with the Bessa III.

Edit: Oh, the first two are from the 9:th of september. The last two are from the 24:th on the same roll.

Nice set Martin, but I really like the last one. Something about the gauges, controls and the contrast between the background.

A few more from Jeju Island, Korea

Our last day on this beautiful island, am typing this in Seoul.

This is Jeongbang waterfall, which falls 23 metres, directly into the sea.

Pentax 645D FA 55-110mm with Kenko ND400 at 55mm and f/16 5 sec exposure

This one in colour and closer and wider

Pentax 645D FA 33-55 at 33mm f/16 and 13 sec exposure with ND 400

We then went to a temple that was encouraging us to use cameras, even telling us to use flash. I liked the look of this dragon from the second floor and took it at an angle.

Pentax 645D FA 33-55mm at 55mm f/8 400 IS) and flash

Outside the temple there were lots of little elephants

pentax 645D FA 33-55 at 55mm and f/7.1 1/320 ISO 100

After a lunch of pheasant shaboushabou (meat cooked in stock and then stock used to cook noodles and then rice - very good and very filling), we went to a green tea museum and I had a green tea cappuccino, which looked a little strange but actually tasted very good

Thanks, that's the one I like the best too.

---------------

Now for the third MF camera. The Meopta Flexaret! Leaking light and everything.

This is what it looks like...

Taken with 67II, 55mm, Ilford 3200, free hand at 1/45. Scanned with Hasselblad Flextight.

Nice classic look. A sure keeper.

Thanks, Luc!

The second one, Makten, is grand. I love the leaking light. I'd like to see it with a tiny bit more contrast, though.

Some more from Korea, this time on film

I brought both my 645D and 645N with me on my 19 day long trip to Korea. Using primarily colour film, a mixture of Fuji Reala 100 and Fuji Pro 160S. I found a Kodak express around the corner to develop and scan them, and am pretty happy with the results especially as they charged me the equivalent of £17.50 ($28) to develop and scan 7 rolls of 120 film. It costs me more than £10 at home to get 1 film done, albeit black and white!

These are from Jeju island again, off the south coast of Korea.

This is looking from Udo coral beach to Jeju, and Mount Halla

Back on Jeju itself and the temple.

Some wet photos from Yong In, korea

Stopped off at the impressive Shinsegae department store in the town of Yong In, 90 minutes south of Seoul and had a latte outside by the fountains. They stopped and started several times.

Pentax 645D FA 33-55 @ 48mm, f/5.6 1/1600 ISO 250. Quite heavily cropped as only had the one lens on me...

Then they stopped and never restarted, but it made a fairly mundane scene a little more interesting:

I will echo the comment I left on Flickr. In addition to being superb photos, I was amazed by the notion that mountains of this character are on Corsica. You certainly have changed my notion of the place.

My First submission

Pentax 645N, Fuji PRO160S, 1/1000, F/4.0, FA150mm.

This is off the 1st roll of medium format that I have shot. It is nice to have film in my hands again. Sorry about the dust but that is inside of my scanner I will have to figure out how to get the glass off to clean it. I Hope you enjoy the photo.
