Nice shots, everyone. Here's my contribution to this thread. These pictures were taken with a Pentax 645D camera and 150mm f/2.8 FA lens. Thanks for looking.

Those are lovely Edward, particularly the first. Any special processing?

Thanks for the kind words, Thomas. Yes, I always edit beauty heashots. My typical workflow includes, but not limited to, the following: skin smoothing, removing stray hairs, adding more contrast and brightness to the eyes, and removing eye veins. It can be very time-consuming if you have to fix eyebrows and eyelashes. Hope this helps.

This was shot using my Pentax 67 with my 90/2.8 leaf shutter lens mounted in reverse directly to the body via the 67mm reverse adapter. Film used was original expired Fujichrome Velvia RVP and exposure was 15 seconds at f/16 IIRC.
Wow! Awesome macro shot, Swift1

Zygonyx....fantastic! I've been wanting to try some of the 645 extension tubes on certain 645 lenses mounted on the 645D, but haven't gotten around it yet. Your shots are also a testimony of how superb a performer the FA 300 f4 645 lens is. Thanks for posting these!

Hi All. I am new to this site. It took me a few tries to display a image on this thread.

Shot with my 6x7 45mm. Tmax 400 / 4 sec.

Thank you Dave.
I got my extension set in Le Moyen Format store in Paris Bd Beaumarchais.
I like them because of the limits they push versus the typical macro lens (actually, i am waiting at the moment for my just bought 120/4 ...).
An other example with 27mm tube + FA 75mm @f/3.5 :

off topic to the degree that it's not my photo, but the official state photo of the new French president, Hollande, has apparently been taken with a '62 Rolleiflex by Raymond Depardon. See:

Very nice Tuco! I love the barren simplicity.
Smolk, that presidential portrait really has a distinct 3D look doesn't it.

+1 , I like it to.
(and I admire America: untouched dunes - at my home there would be hundreds of footsteps ) .

Thanks, you guys. I need to work on improving this kind of scene. Some experiments with different films are in order.

Thanks. Not may foot steps but lots of tire tracks. Dune buggies everywhere.

To see it properly, one must download the picture from the link on the website, but yes, I know, it's not everyone's cup of tea. I actually like it. Hollande himself chose the gardens as a symbolic setting, and the photographer had half an hour he spent with a Leica, a dslr and then the Rolleiflex. But it expresses something that sets Hollande apart, which is what the president wanted. But there's also something unsettled in the picture. I like that.
