Ryan - love the shots! Intrigued by the great noise performance in the ISO800 and ISO1600 shots; did you do any particular processing to manage noise?

Ed - Check out DXOmark.com and compare the S/N graphs of the 645D against ANY of the current DSLRs including the D600, D800 and 6D, and you'll find the 645D equals or matches any of them up to ISO1600, the limit of it's range. Unlike some of the other digital medium format cameras that have a reputation for having some noise issues...not so with the 645D. I've found that while the 645D only allows an ISO setting up to 1600, it can easily be pushed more in Light Room. Noise has never been an issue with the 645D. I continue to be somewhat amazed that the 645D excellent noise performance is generally overlooked...now if it just wrote the files to the card a bit faster.

I agree. I have shot at 1600 and been able to push further in LR with little or no sacrifices in IQ.

here is from the first roll of film i shot with the 645... was wondering... direct from developing... no editing...

velvia 100 film are the colors really like this or it is the way it was scanned?

also, can you suggest a scanner that is less than $200 (or should i make a new thread to ask about it)

Ponggo, IMHO the triangular objects on the top of the image seem to indicate that something wasn't quite right during film processing... I can hardly imagine the situation that they are artifacts of the way you made the photograph.
